Marakura Yacht Club welcomes applications for Membership.
We are a small friendly family-orientated club with excellent facilities on the shore of Lake Te Anau. Our Learn to Sail Courses are provided at no charge to Club Members and are an excellent way of introduction to the sport of sailing. We have a keen group of Trailer Yacht owners who are often looking for crew during the season. For those new to sailing this is another great way to up-skill prior to venturing towards yacht ownership. For experienced sailers the club offers regular training nights and racing days for dinghies and trailer yachts. We also host several Regattas during the season which are popular events.
